Island Boats has delivered three (3) sister-ship 65' x 20' catamaran ship tenders to Norwegian Cruise Lines. This ship tenders operate at Fanning Island in the Republic of Kirabiti (South Pacific). The vessels transport ship's passengers from the company's cruise ships to a company owned dock at the island. The vessels are symmetrical vee catamarans with a long waterline length. The vessels utilize John Deere main propulsion diesel engines through Twin Disc conventional gear reduction units.

Noteworthy features of the vessel are the efficiencies of the hulls that allow it to achieve respectable speeds, high load and minimal power.

The vessels have a covered lower deck and an open upper deck. Aluminum bench seating is provided on the upper and lower decks. Life jackets storage is provided through life jacket racks on the lower decks and boxes on the upper decks.

Passengers can be loaded through loading gates on the upper and lower decks. The vessels are equipped with fresh and black water systems and basic 12VDC electronics. Steering is manual hydraulic.

ABS rules for High Speed Craft and USCG SubChapter T rules were used as a guide for design and construction.

Damaged and intact stability are provided for the full complement of 200 passengers.
